Located at the southernmost tip of the Karakuwa Peninsula, Misaki is a view spot where you can see the majestic scenery of the raging waves of the Pacific Ocean crashing on the shore. There are scenic spots such as Hinuma, Inuma, Hachisekibiki, and Kookijima, as well as facilities such as the Karakuwa Peninsula Visitor Center, Misaki Tourist Port, and a campsite. Among them, Hachisekibiki is a rocky area where it is said that the deity of Misaki Shrine landed in eight boats. Facing the sea, a gentle flat area of ​​black slate stretches for 30m wide and 50m long, and is also known as "Senjojiki."
