Kesennuma Hawaiian Festival 2024

The first Hawaiian festival will be held in Kesennuma!

15 groups, mostly local but also from all over Tohoku, are scheduled to perform. There will also be a special performance by special guest kumu (teacher) Maka Head from Hawaii, and a live performance by Hawaiian musicians Yukiko Minami and Takatoshi Maki. Food trucks are also scheduled to set up stalls. Viewing is free and entry and exit is free. Why not take this opportunity to experience the charm of Hawaii?
