2026 Karakuwa Peninsula Walking Event: Michinoku Shiokaze Trail Karakuwa Peninsula Section Hike Vol. 1

EventsAccepting 2026/05/08

The start of the Sea Breeze Trail, a walk through Karakuwa in early summer.

We will be holding a section hike of the "Michinoku Shiokaze Trail" on the Karakuwa Peninsula, where the sea, flowers, and dynamic landscape unfold. The approximately 8km course, walked with a guide, is a varied route that traverses the eastern side of the peninsula.
In early summer, the Nikko daylilies, which normally bloom in high mountains, spread along the coast, creating a unique landscape that can only be found here, along with the scenery that has been registered as part of the Sanriku Geopark.
This is recommended not only for trekking enthusiasts but also for beginners who want to enjoy a leisurely walk in nature.
Why not experience the pleasant feeling of walking at your own pace while enjoying the sea breeze in Karakuwa?
