Another place where you can enjoy viewing azaleas is the area that straddles Minamisanriku Town and Kesennuma City.Mount Tatsutaand Mt. Murone in Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture.
Mt. Tokusenjo is sandwiched between these two mountains from north to south, and the azaleas reach their best viewing season from south to north, first at Mt. Takusan, then at Mt. Tokusenjo, and finally at Mt. Murone.
