Introduction
What is a Geopark?
Geopark is a combination of the words "earth" and "park," and refers to a place where you can learn about and enjoy the earth (geo) in its entirety. We humans live among the flora and fauna and ecosystems (eco) that spread across the earth (geo), building culture, industry, and fostering history. At geoparks, you can enjoy learning about the connections between these three elements: geo, eco, and humans.
What is a Geopark site?
The places of interest in a geopark are called "sites."
