Q: What about tax deductions?
A: Donations are eligible for tax refunds and deductions, so if you go through the procedure,The final actual out-of-pocket expense will be only 2,000 yen (※).
If you donate within the deduction limit, the portion exceeding 2,000 yen will be deducted from your tax. *When filing your tax return, you will receive a refund from your income tax and a deduction from your resident tax.
