Kameyama quietly stands on the north side of Kesennuma Oshima.
The summit, 235 meters above sea level, offers one of the most beautiful views in Sanriku National Park, inviting visitors into a special experience.

▲The lift that was in operation before the earthquake
Currently, construction is underway to install a new monorail to replace the lift, as well as other improvements to further enhance the appeal of the entire summit.
We are currently preparing for the day when many people can once again enjoy the unique scenery, so please look forward to the opening.
[Scheduled to open in July 2026] Kameyama Garden Development Status

A terrace and cafe stand will be installed, and outdoor sofas will be placed on the terrace so that visitors can relax and enjoy the spectacular views.

To reach the summit, you can purchase a ticket at the waiting and rest building halfway up the mountain and take the monorail.
