Kesennuma Town University Festival 2026

Kesennuma Machi Daigaku is a learning space set in Kesennuma where you can give shape to the things you want to do. It is a festival that brings together various citizen-led challenges born from the Kesennuma Machi Daigaku Initiative promoted by Kesennuma City, and allows you to enjoy learning, dialogue, collaboration, and co-creation. This year marks the third time the event has been held, and a booklet summarizing the 10 years since the initiative was launched in 2016 will be produced and its contents will be on display. Over these two days, you can look at Kesennuma today from its past history and pave the way for the future. Please come along!
