The mornings and evenings are getting colder in Kesennuma. The other day, the "Kesennuma Fun Exhibition, the setting of "Welcome Back Mone""I went to.

Like this, you can take photos with the original weather forecast chart, read related materials from the morning serial TV drama, and even have a part of our "Okaeri Mone Diary" on display. This exhibition was packed with excitement that we just couldn't help but look forward to. It was truly #OkaeriMoneTooLikeIt!
Well, this is the last part of the character introduction, "The people Mion meets in Tome." I would like to share them with you along with the comments introduced by NHK.
Past performers introduction
"The first cast announcement has finally been made! The heroine's parents'
"Kesennuma Family! Heroine's Grandparents and Sister'
"Filming in Kesennuma coming soon! Mion's classmates, part 1'
""Cool" is jammed. Mion's classmate part 2 & fisherman part'
These characters are essential to the protagonist's growth.

Mari Natsuki plays Sayaka Nitta, the dynamic "princess" of Tome
A wealthy man from Tome. Rumored to be a descendant of a chief retainer of the Date clan, he goes by the nickname "Princess." He entrusts his forest land to the forestry association, and also runs a cafe and a clinic. He is an old friend of Mion's grandfather, Tatsumi, and gives Mion a boarding house when she comes to Tome. He is a bold and generous man, and he teaches Mion about the richness and harshness of the forest.

I think that after many young and unreliable characters appear, the sense of relief when Mari Natsuki appears is incredible. This gives you a strong feeling that the protagonist will grow. Mari Natsuki polishes the raw diamond and awakens it. There, we learn the three main principles of a certain boys' magazine: friendship, effort, and victory.
This Princess Sayaka Nitta has the perfect setting of being "an old friend of Mion's grandfather, Tatsumi." Mari Natsuki and Tatsuya Fuji are just too cool... I want to be an adult like them, and I admire them so much, but I don't think I can join that group just because I'm older. At the very least, I'd like to be a naive waitress who gets told "You need to do better!" when the two of them are talking at a regular restaurant.
Kentaro Sakaguchi plays Kotaro Suganami, a young doctor who grows up alongside Mion.
A doctor at the clinic that Sayaka opened. He is registered at a university hospital in Tokyo and comes to the clinic every other week. He doesn't seem to be particularly interested in local medical care, and is always dry and unsociable. He doesn't get along well with Mion either, but eventually he uses his sharp mind to teach her how to forecast weather, and the two of them begin to grow closer.

Apparently, Kentaro Sakaguchi, who is such a nice young man, is playing a "dry and unsociable" role this time. I know that. This "Kotaro Suganami" is definitely popular. Everyone, young and old, is making appointments at the hospital when this doctor is there. He is being screamed at behind his back. But, among them, there is a beautiful girl who is like, "What's with that nasty guy! What's so good about him?"... It's girls like that who are getting closer to him. I know that too. Yes, I'm just a mob cast member after all. A girl who maintains a social distance in her heart. It's okay, I'm used to that kind of life...
By the way, did you know? Kentaro Sakaguchi is 184cm tall! He was also a model for skinny jeans at a certain large clothing store, right? When my friend's mother saw him, she said, "I bought them because someone from Monet was in the commercial." I thought, this must be Monetnomics...
I want to work for this forestry association.

Kenta Hamano as Shoyo Sasaki, the unique section chief of the forestry association
He is the section chief of the forestry association where Mion works. He is often pushed around by Sayaka's sudden ideas, who is also the head of the association, but he works hard day and night to make the most of the site. He teaches Mion the basics of forestry, as well as unique businesses such as forest therapy. He is also the heir to the local "Noh" art that has been passed down since the days of the Date clan and is protected by the local citizens.

Hamaken is amazing. He has no weaknesses when it comes to music, dramas, or movies. Hamano Kenta, commonly known as Hamaken, has appeared in "Toto Neechan" and "Manpuku," as well as many other dramas and movies, but he was originally the frontman of the band "SAKEROCK," just like Hoshino Gen (the band has since disbanded and both are pursuing their own musical careers). I also went to a SAKEROCK live show over 10 years ago. I also saw them at the venue when they first performed at Fuji Rock. Hamaken looked so cool in his white suit, playing the trombone with such genuine joy! He's a wonderful musician and actor. I think he'll be performing "Noh" in the drama, and I feel like that would fit in well too!
Denden-san: Forestry Association's opinion leader, Hiroshi Kawakubo
A veteran employee of the forestry association. He continues to work as a contract employee even after retirement due to his extensive knowledge and experience of trees. Although he appears to be a laid-back person, he thinks about the future of forests more than anyone else and is proactively working to develop new businesses. He is a big fan of Shotaro Ishinomori, who is from Tome, and once he starts talking, he can't stop.
(NHK PR "Okaeri Mone" announces new cast membersQuoted from)
And here is Denden-san, who often appears in morning serial TV dramas! His acting skills are amazing, as he can make a kind and gentle face, or a scary face that seems to be hiding something! When I saw his bizarre performance in the movie "Cold Fish" where he played a serial killer, I thought for a moment that maybe this smiling and friendly old man is actually... but this time it seems that is not the case. After all, he "cares about the future of the forest more than anyone else." I felt a little relieved.
Apparently, the character she plays this time is a "big fan of Shotaro Ishinomori"! Do you know him, young people? Shotaro Ishinomori. He is the creator of Kamen Rider and one of the manga artists who built the foundation of the Japanese manga world. There is a memorial facility called "Ishinomori Manga Museum" in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, and I once had a part-time job there drawing portraits while cosplaying as "Cyborg 003" (the only female character). If Kawakubo would be happy, I would like to dress up like that again and spend the night talking about Ishinomori's works.
A weather forecaster with numbers.

Hidetoshi Nishijima as Satoru Asaoka, who leads Mion into the world of weather forecasting
A famous TV weathercaster. A gentle person, when he visits Tome, he teaches Mion that "weather forecasting is a world where you can predict the future." He works at a private weather forecasting company in Tokyo and is also actively involved in the "weather business" in various fields. He eventually becomes Mion's boss when she moves to Tokyo.
(NHK PR "Okaeri Mone" announces new cast membersQuoted from)
Here comes Hidetoshi Nishijima, the most popular actor among women in their 30s around me! If Nishijima was a weather forecaster, I would check every morning to see what kind of suit he'd be wearing. I'm such a fangirl. Nishijima is famous for "MOZU" and "Double Face," but I should talk about "What Did You Eat Yesterday?" This work depicts a couple living together, starring him and Masaaki Uchino, who plays Mion's father. Nishijima's apron look, in his role as a good cook, is also a highlight, but the casual daily life of the two of them gives a sense of a small happiness. By the way, as many of you may know, the screenplay for this work is written by Naoko Adachi, who also wrote the screenplay for "Okaeri Mone." Let's eat three bowls of rice from Tome with this fact, which is irresistible for fans.
But why are such wonderful people cast one after another? Umm, but, you know what? I think the more mature a man is, the better. I've been thinking about who I should "push" in this drama, and I've decided that it's Fuji Tatsuya.

Well, the basic rule is to support everyone, right? But... to be honest, right now I can only think about Fuji-san. So, I would like to give the First Impression Rose to Fuji-san first (are you watching "The Bachelorette"?). No, sorry. I'm going too far with my imagination.
Well, to begin with, there is absolutely nothing in common between me and the other actors. Every time I feel the "amazingness" of the actors' expressions, I clearly think, "I never would have had the opportunity to meet these people in my life." But, but... "We were born in the same era, and we share a connection in Kesennuma and Tome." Isn't this the greatest joy? Hey! Let's share this joy! You, the reader, too!!
Thank you so much, everyone. This means I'll be sending bonito back to your families. Eh? What? Is the bonito season over already? Then I guess the best thing to do this season is oysters. I'd like to send oysters from around Mion's family home.
Kesennuma oysters are super delicious! Please check out this article too.
