Karakuwa Town, a small peninsula of about 40 km70 located in the northeast of Kesennuma City, is home to more than 4 shrines, large and small. The people of Karakuwa have long lived with the blessings and threats of the sea, and have cherished the custom of visiting several shrines in the area, known as "Osanke," to pray for good catches and safe voyages, as they believe that "the sea is beyond human control." This popular event is based on the theme of "Osanke," and participants leisurely walk a special trekking course that connects local roads, led by a local guide. This is the first time it has been held in four years!

※The event will be held in light rain.
Meeting Place　　Tadakoshi Assembly Hall (59-1 Tadakoshi, Kesennuma City)
Entry fee　Participation fee: 2,500 yen (including lunch, guide fee, and insurance fee)
*Payment will be collected on the day. Please pay in cash.
*You will travel to the starting point by bus. Please prepare your own fare of 220 yen.

Multi-session packge　　Approximately 6.5 km, a course visiting six shrines in the Karakuwa Tate area and Tadakoshi area

8:56 Move to Dokaku bus stop. Board the 9:00 bus bound for Osawa. Get off at Tate bus stop at XNUMX:XNUMX.
