On Mondays, we'll be talking about "Okaeri Mone" together! The Tokyo arc started last week, and I'm watching it with excitement, as if it were the start of the second season! The skies of Tokyo and Kesennuma are connected...!
Let's talk about what happened last week in the letters section!

This issue's letter

Ahhh, the Tokyo chapter has started! I was thinking that Kesennuma and Tome wouldn't appear in the opening credits, but they did! That alone made me feel good (Eserider Amazon)

Ahhh! I know what it feels like to scream! I also thought "I guess she won't appear," but when I checked, it was written there. To be honest, I felt a little sad when the Tokyo arc started because Monet would be leaving "Miyagi," but I want to be an adult who can support young people in what they want to do! So, I'd be happy if you could keep Miyagi in the back of your mind...

Marianna Kamino, Desk Takamura, Natsu-san the landlady... all kinds of beauties appear! Uchida-kun is also handsome. (Meh)

Uchida-kun is quite the hidden good-looking guy. His hairstyle and checked flannel shirt make you think that he must be a very fashionable person. He is a good-looking guy who can't be hidden. Among the female cast, he is perfect for the character of Kamino Marianna Riko, who is "ambitious but has a straightforward personality"!

When Monet-chan was heading to her boarding house or her company, she was spinning the map on her smartphone, but I wondered if young people these days don't use the "compass settings" to set it to "heading up"? Am I the only one who thought that? (sigh) Also, I was blown away by "Kosame-chan" and "Umbrella Dolphin-kun"! (lol) (Totokichi)

Ah, that's true! Maybe she wasn't used to reading maps? Maybe Monet had never been in an environment where she had to use maps before? Maybe it was her first time using a map app, so she didn't know how to use it... When I first came to Tokyo, I often printed out maps and took them with me. I remember looking up train transfers and taking notes on them...! Now you can do that with your smartphone. We live in a convenient age.

In the weather segment (broadcast on TV), they skillfully used "Kosame-chan and Umbrella Dolphin-kun" (puppet dolls) to communicate with Kamino-san the information that "wind speeds in Sendai are reaching 26.8 m/s, and signs are falling, so it's dangerous, so please be careful" - it was amazing. At the end, Monet fell asleep in Shiomi-yu. While Monet was asleep, she had a "chance reunion" with Suganami-sensei. I wonder if someone will "wake up Monet" at the start of next week? I'm looking forward to next week too. (It's a bit far for me, so I can't go see it, but the "Welcome Back Monet Exhibition" is also amazing! (Umakkoyama)

That's right. After watching the broadcast last weekend, I thought that next week the main focus would be on Monet and Suganami-sensei crossing paths a few times and eventually meeting. But Suganami-sensei didn't appear in Monday's (today's) broadcast. It's a shame, but I'm sure there will be a scene where the two meet in Tokyo, so I'm looking forward to it!

"This is where I need to work hard! Leave it to me!" you say, rolling up your sleeves, but then another job comes up and you end up with a buck in the knee and your turn is gone. That happens all the time when you're working. When you're young, you don't understand, and you get mad and say "I can't do this!" every time, but that's also an experience. Good luck, Kamino-chan! And Monet-chan is a great help here too. Let's use Kosame-chan and Kasa-Iruka-kun there! I hope Kamino-chan and Monet-chan work well together! And Suganami-sensei!! You said that there's no chance of meeting by chance in vast Tokyo, didn't you? It's a drama. When will they run into each other? Where? (Umbrella Iruka-kun fan/Nagoya no Mayuko)

I lost my turn and my knees buckled! That's a nice expression! And in the adult world, at times like that, instead of getting frustrated and saying "Huh, why?!", I have to put on a face like "It's totally fine, I'm fine"! But that kind of thing happens quite often.
I always end up drawing Kosame-chan and Umbrella Dolphin-kun in my Monet Diary. I just can't help but want to draw them.
And Dr. Suganami. What a person you are! I love Mayuko Nagoya's stories about Dr. Suganami, so I'd love to talk to you again if there's another event.

It was a hectic week, a stark contrast to the relaxed pace of the previous week. Still, the staff's feelings that they had not forgotten about Miyagi were conveyed. The anchor of the program to which Monet was assigned was former TBC anchor Hakamada-san. The strong winds were blowing in Sendai City. The signboard had fallen around the area where the Ichibancho 4-chome shopping street leads into Kokubuncho. The location where the PARCO building can be seen is familiar to those who watch the Miyagi local NHK.
My friend Asumi stayed over, and Misao and Yuto sent me useful information from Sendai (lol). It seems that Suganami-sensei also lives nearby (although Monet was asleep and couldn't meet him). So I wonder what Ryo-chin is up to. I wonder if he'll appear in the Tokyo arc. As Daikichi-sensei says, we're not going to meet in the real Kabukicho (bitter smile) (Yoshinobu)

It was a really exciting start to the Tokyo episode, with a lot of different things packed into it. As Yoshinobu said, if you look closely, you can see that Miyagi material was woven throughout! I was especially happy to see Ayaka Hakamada, a former TBC (Tohoku Broadcasting System) member, make a casual appearance.
So, what is Ryochin up to now? I'm curious too. If there is a spin-off of the Kabukicho arc, I'd love to see it!

This week I'm sending you "bonito from the heart." I ended up with bonito again. No, there is a bumper catch of bonito this year.
