When I received this letter, I thought, "I see." Because I thought this song "Nanairo" was "Ryochin's song!"
So I listened to it again carefully. It's true... it could be a song by Professor Suganami!
And I started to feel like it was a song about Koji's dad, Shinji, or even Ryuuki's grandpa... No, no, even though it's in the first person, I feel like it's about Monet. This is amazing!

I wonder if Mom's goal from now on will not be to reopen the guesthouse but to become a cram school teacher? I had imagined that Dad would suddenly quit his job as a banker and take over from his grandfather, and Mom would start a guesthouse. That's right, teachers always remember the names of the students they taught, no matter how old they get. Ayako-sensei. I wish I had a teacher like that.
Also, the mother had a wish to "work with children," so even if she couldn't run a guesthouse (foster parent), she might start with a cram school. If she couldn't do it, she'd do what she could, and I felt a surge of courage in her determination to take a steady step forward.
I also wondered if my father would quit his job as a banker and take over the oyster business. I thought there were many different futures.

Though the situations were different, my mother and I had a similar experience to Ayako, but in the opposite position, so I found myself empathizing more than usual while watching... I felt better after hearing Ayako speak, and I'm glad that Nagaura Fisheries will continue to exist for the time being!
By the way, in my case, it's just a memory now, but my mother says that "when I think about it, tears come to my eyes," so I wonder if she still feels sorry.
Also, she said that she seriously considered marrying Koji because "she met Grandma Masayo," and even Ryuuki thought it was "fantastic" and wondered, "What a great man he must have been to Ayako!" No, really. I thought that Ayako-san should not have blamed her so much, just like Totokichi-san said. However, before I thought "You don't need to blame her so much...", I unconsciously thought "Her family and (probably) the kids at school were all safe".
In other words, if that wasn't the case... I think Ayako would have continued to blame herself for a long time. Even if that's the case, I don't think Ayako needs to blame herself. Just imagining all the different things that could have happened about this was painful... I think it was a particularly deep and memorable scene for Totokichi-san, and for those who watched it and empathized in the same way. It might be good if you could put that kind of pain into words, even just a little, and talk about it with someone.
And then there's the reincarnated Fantasista, Grandma. No, maybe "Fantastic". I thought I'd like to become a grandma like that. A grandma with a smile that everyone looks up to... well, maybe not in this life.
Last week, I think there were quite a few people who said, "It reminded me of what happened to me at that time" when they heard about the emotional pain that Ayako had been carrying.
Those of you with children will surely be able to empathize... Putting your thoughts into words, and listening to what others say... It's a simple thing, but it really brought home to me how important it is.
