Upon Request

[Request-based] KESENNUMA BREWER'S TABLE ~Seafood and local sake pairing dinner~

The charm of traveling is being able to meeting new people and try local food. "KESENNUMA BREWER'S TABLE" is a pairing dinner where you can learn about the feelings and dedication of the sake brewers, and taste carefully selected dishes made with seasonal ingredients from Kesennuma, along with sake specifically chosen by the brewers to go well with the food.

The program includes a store tour and dinner. You can choose your preferred course from "Western" or "Japanese" for dinner.

Start with a tour of the brewery store

We start with a visit to one of the sake brewery stores, which were rebuilt after the earthquake. Both of the Kesennuma sake breweries, "Kakuboshi" and "Otokoyama Honten," are registered as being national important cultural treasures. During the tour, you will learn about the history and passion of sake brewing through the stories of the brewers.

And then to dinner

Afterwards, we move to dinner. The ingredients and sake used in the dishes are of course all locally produced. Each dish will be accompanied by a different type of sake. Please enjoy the experience of pairing seafood with sake.

Point!
  • Learn more about the relationship between port towns and sake
  • The pairing of fresh seafood and sake is exceptional!
  • Enjoy seasonal alcohol and food
