Enjoy the seasonal scenery while traveling

Uncategorized 2020/03/18

Kesennuma has a lot of beautiful scenery that changes with the seasons. You may imagine the sea, but there are also plenty of things to see in the green mountains and flowers. Why not take a leisurely walk or bike ride at your own pace to see the sky, sea, and trees that show different colors depending on the season? Taking a break from your everyday life, immersing yourself in nature and taking a slow, deep breath will make both your mind and body happy.

Walk at your own pace and enjoy the scenery

Kesennuma and Karakuwa Town are a peninsula surrounded by the beautiful scenery unique to the ria coast. This is an area where you can experience the scenic beauty of the area, which is also designated as Sanriku Fukko National Park.
Karakuwa has a variety of trekking courses, including the Michinoku Sea Breeze Trail, which connects Aomori Prefecture to Fukushima Prefecture and stretches over 1000 kilometers, and the Miyagi Olle, where you can enjoy walking while getting up close and personal with nature.
You may be thinking, "I've never done it before, will I be okay?", but it's a lot easier than mountain climbing and is the perfect activity for people who want to get some exercise on the weekend. Walking at your own pace while enjoying the scenery and plants will refresh your mind and body!
