What are the Kesennuma Machinaka Area Platform, Area Vision, and Design Conference?
In March 2023, the Kesennuma Machinaka Area Vision was formulated, which outlines the future of the area around the site of the relocated city hall and the area around the inland bay. The aim is to create an area that people from outside the area will want to visit, and an area that is full of challenges and excitement. In the fall of 3, a social experiment called Wakuwaku Daisakusen 2022 was carried out to verify business viability and operation methods, and a second social experiment called Wakuwaku Daisakusen 2022 is being carried out this year in 2023.
